The Best Bakery in Town

For the past couple months, we’ve kept an epic project under wraps. The owner didn’t want to show off until completion, and that time is now.

A local bakery named Good Cakes and Bakes reached out to us for an all new build out. The owner felt it was time to give the bakery a face lift, and the JJ’s House Co team jumped on the opportunity.

For the build out, we started off by framing a separate section for preparation food preparation. From that point, the space was encapsulated with walls and windows. A beautifully stained barn door was added for entrance as well.

White and pink paint covers the interior of the local Detroit bakery, and white and bubblegum tile was added to the floor to compliment the colors. All of the new wooden countertops have been stained perfectly and add some serious pop to the inside.

We needed to get the project done within a time frame as they didn’t want to stay closed for too long. After the build out, the good cakes and bakes team moved their equipment and got down to business.
